ABOUT
Technology should strengthen the mission, not complicate it
eduCYBER is a Swiss digital resilience and responsible technology advisory for NGOs and mission-driven organizations.

Why eduCYBER exists
Cybersecurity is often presented as a technical problem. For organizations working on rights, humanitarian action, development, education and public-interest missions, it is also a question of trust, duty of care, continuity and responsible decision-making.
eduCYBER helps leaders and non-technical teams understand digital risk, improve everyday practice, strengthen policies and prepare for disruption. The aim is not complexity for its own sake. It is clearer decisions, practical capability and resilience that supports the organization’s purpose.
EXPERIENCE
International experience grounded in real organizational contexts
eduCYBER was founded in Switzerland by Kamal Sedra. eduCYBER draws on professional experience built through work across approximately 35 countries, with particular depth in the Middle East and North Africa, and additional experience across Europe, Asia and the United States.
This background brings an understanding of multilingual teams, sensitive missions, different levels of digital maturity and the realities of organizations working with limited time and resources.
Current areas of delivery
- cybersecurity awareness and cyber hygiene;
- non-technical training and capacity building;
- digital risk and governance advisory;
- policy development and review;
- incident preparedness and organizational exercises;
- responsible AI governance and staff guidance.
OUR APPROACH
Principles that guide the work
People and rights first
Digital decisions should protect dignity, safety, privacy and the people an organization serves.
Context before templates
Advice should reflect mission, risk, culture, resources and operating environment.
Practical and proportionate
Recommendations must be understandable, realistic and useful beyond the engagement.
Capability, not dependency
Engagements are designed to leave leaders and teams more confident and able to continue the work.
Clear boundaries
Scope, deliverables and limitations are agreed clearly so organizations know what support they are receiving.
Sensitive by design
Where work involves sensitive people or information, appropriate handling expectations are agreed before the engagement begins.
Who we support
Our primary focus is NGOs, INGOs, foundations, civil-society and human-rights organizations. We also work with international organizations, public institutions and responsible businesses when the need matches our experience.
Some work cannot be described publicly. Client names, examples and outcomes are published only when disclosure is appropriate and authorized.
